
Humanitarian project in partnership with the chain of stores "Aurora"
Problem:
Internally displaced persons who have been forced to leave their homes due to Russian aggression are in great need of humanitarian assistance, including food, hygiene products, and goods for children.
According to the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, as of November 2022, 4.8 million internally displaced persons were officially registered in Ukraine. According to international estimates, the number is even higher - more than 7 million people.
Project goal:
- To provide humanitarian aid to vulnerable people, including people of retirement age and mothers with children, in the form of vouchers for the purchase of any goods in the Aurora chain of stores.
Project results:
- 7,040 people in 7 cities of Ukraine - Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kropyvnytskyi, and Kryvyi Rih - received humanitarian aid in the form of vouchers for the purchase of goods in the Aurora chain of stores.
Project partners:
Aurora chain of stores, Sered Lyudey (Sumy), Community of Volunteers United by Idea (Zaporizhzhia), Central Ukrainian Volunteer Organization (Kropyvnytskyi), and the Department of Social Policy (Kharkiv).
